we snuck away last weekend for the fourth! fooled ya!

every year my family gets together on the fourth of july for a reunion. this is our 21st year. cra-zay! and the fun part is we actually all get along really well and there is no drama! so while i am in recovery mode and getting my house back together i wanted to share a few picture of a beautiful 100-year old church we visited in columbia, la last weekend.
















gorgeous, no? i love old churches, old buildings, old school houses. i cried when they tore down a historic part of my high school my senior year! i'm kind of a sap like that :)  oh and before you think i am math illiterate (which i kind of am) this specific building has been there for 100 years this year. the church itself has been there since 1838.
