haven swag giveaway!
i will never again balk at the price of a blogging conference ticket. we were inundated with SO much free stuff and coupon codes and giveaways that i was dizzy with what to do with it all. and trust me, there were people who went home with WAY more than i did. (like the lucky gal who won the $1000 gift basket from annie sloan chalk paint!)

ReplyDeleteBuilding our entire house! ha! (quite a big project). About five years ago, we built our home without a contractor. (We hired-out architects/electricians/masons/plumbers/etc.) It was A LOT of work, but so worth it!

My favorite project was using some mod podge to wallpaper the inside of our medicine cabinet with the pages from a children's book about how great home is. Simple, and it makes me smile when I see it every morning.

I would say making our own box shelves! Instead of paying for the cheap and small ones at Target we bought some wood, spray painted then black, hammered in some nails, and voila! two pretty shelves for under $10 :)

Well, my favorite was also our biggest which was just plain building our house! We just did get moved in but we are still working on details.
