today i'm thrilled to feature the artist of one of my favorite prizes to win to date! i won a state print from her shop and if you haven't been around here long enough to know i'm a texas girl then i'm here to tell you... i nearly peed my pants when i got it! diana from livy love designs is adorable, creative, and so much fun! i love her designs - she does such a great job!

who or what encouraged you to start your indie biz?
When I had my daughter in July 2010, I wanted to do something that fulfilled me as person, not just a mom. I started my business because I made a lot of prints for her nursery and many people loved them! So I decided to sell them.

what is the hardest challenge you have as an indie biz owner?
It's easy to get discouraged and think you aren't that good especially when sales don't come right away. However, don't give up, Just keep trying and you will see success.

what is some helpful advice you would offer other indie biz owners?
I like to tell people to get your products out there. Do giveaways, do sponsoring..You will have to spend money to get money.

what is the ultimate goal you have for your indie biz?
I would love to be able to provide for my family full time. My husband is still in school and working, but our goal is to have me do this full time while he finishes school and hopefully longer when he is done. Its my passion besides my children and I want to do this forever.

two of diana's favorite items...
